These terms cover your use of prajwalbranding.com and any work I do for you. Prajwal Branding is the freelance business of Prajwal Venkatesha, a sole proprietor based in Karnataka, India.
If you hire me, your written proposal or quote sets out the details of your project. If the proposal and these terms disagree, the proposal wins.
How I handle personal data is explained in my privacy policy.
The 15-Minute Website Audit, any written feedback I send in reply, and the free 30-minute call are free, with no obligation to hire me. They’re a quick, high-level look, not a full technical audit, so use your own judgement before acting on them.
After we talk, I’ll send a written proposal with the scope, price, timeline and payment schedule. A quote is valid for [30 days]. Our agreement starts when you accept the proposal in writing (an email is fine) and pay the deposit.
The proposal lists exactly what’s included. Each project includes [2 rounds] of revisions at the design stage and [1 round] after the build.
Anything outside the agreed scope, such as extra pages, new features or a change of direction after design approval, is a change request. I’ll quote it separately before doing it, so there are no surprise costs.
If a project is on hold waiting for you for more than [30 days], I may close it and invoice for the work done so far. We can restart it later.
The proposal gives a realistic timeline. It depends on getting content, access and feedback on time, so delays on either side move the dates. I’ll tell you straight away if anything on my side may cause a delay.
Your site runs on WordPress and may use themes, plugins, fonts or images from other companies. These come with their own licences and terms. Ongoing costs such as hosting, your domain and paid plugin licences are listed in the proposal and paid by you, unless we agree otherwise. I’m not responsible for changes, outages or price rises made by those companies.
Search rankings depend on Google, your competitors and many factors outside my control. I don’t guarantee any ranking, amount of traffic, number of enquiries or sales, and anyone who does is promising something they can’t control. What I do promise is to follow Google’s published guidelines, use no tactics that risk penalties, and report honestly on what I’ve done and what’s changed.
For 30 days after launch, I’ll fix any bugs in the work I delivered, free of charge. After that, or for new work, updates and maintenance are available as a separate service.
Fixes aren’t covered if the problem was caused by someone else changing the site, or by updates to WordPress, plugins or your hosting that I didn’t make.
I keep your business information, logins and any private details confidential, and I only use them for your project.
Once your site is live, I may show it in my portfolio and on LinkedIn, and add a small credit in the footer, unless you ask me not to. I’ll never share private details or your results without your permission.
I work carefully, but to the extent the law allows:
Please keep your own backups of your website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer where those apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we disagree about something, let’s first try to sort it out by talking. If that doesn’t work, the courts of [Shivamogga, Karnataka] will have jurisdiction.
I may update these terms from time to time. Changes won’t affect a project already agreed in writing.
